The climate in Andorra

Located at the border of France and Spain in the Pyrenees, Andorra, or officially the principality of Andorra, is a small country which counts a population of approximately 70,000. With more than 2,000 shops, it is the perfect place to go shopping. Andorra la Vella is renowned as the highest capital city in Europe and is home to the Casa de la Vall, an old home that was transformed into Andorra's Parliament. Every year, the country hosts many tourists that enjoy the popular ski resort. Andorra has a continental climate. Due to its high location, the climate is dry, winters are cold and summers are mild. The maximum temperature in August is around 26°C while the minimum temperature in January is 1°C. Andorra experiences very snowy winters and the ski season usually lasts 5 months from December to April.
