The climate in Brisbane

Situated in the southeast corner of Queensland in Australia, Brisbane has a population of 2.2 million. It was named after the river on which it is centred. Rated among the 16 most liveable cities in the world, it is also the largest economy along with Sydney and Singapore. The city Botanic Gardens and Brisbane Forest Parks are the most appreciated tourist locations. As tourism is an important part of the city’s economy, the sunny weather is essential. And the sun is almost always present thanks to the humid subtropical climate which leads to humid, hot summers and dry, warm winters. The temperature usually doesn’t rise above 30°C and doesn’t drop below 15°C. However, thunderstorms are quite common, coming along with destructive rains and winds.
