The climate in Burma

Burma is a country located in Southeast Asia and it is bordered by Bangladesh, India, China, Laos and Thailand. It counts a total population of 51 million people with Naypyidaw its capital and Yangon the largest city. Burma is also known as Myanmar and it has a rich cultural legacy. Here you can discover breathtaking landscapes, lakes, enormous Buddha statues, golden pagodas, wonderful archaeological sites and fascinating ethnic diversity. Burma has a tropical monsoon climate. It has a high rate of rainfall and high humidity with annual average temperatures between 22°C and 27° C. More precisely there are three seasons; the cold but dry season, from November to February, with average monthly temperatures from 20°Cto 24°C. The hot-dry season from March to April with average temperatures of 30°C to 35°C and the wet season between May and October with average temperatures of 25°C to 30°C.
