The climate in Toronto

Found in the South of the Ontario province on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, Toronto is the largest city in Canada with a population of 2.6 million. Toronto has a cosmopolitan and international population with 49% of its population being born outside of the country. Toronto is a popular North American tourist destination whose attractions include the Royal Ontario Museum, the Toronto Zoo, the Toronto Eaton Centre, the CN Tower, and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Toronto has a humid continental climate with warm and humid summers and cold winters. The city has four distinct seasons. The average high temperatures in summer are around 24 to 26°C. In winter, the high temperatures are close to -1 and 0°C, however, the highs can be as low as -10°C. The average snowfall is 133cm.
