Dominica is an island country situated in the Lesser Antilles region of the Caribbean Sea. The climate in Dominica is generally tropical with heavy rainfall and north trade winds. The average daily temperatures are around 26 °C in January and 32 °C in June. During rainy season from August to December, hurricanes and severe winds appear and occasionally they are devastating.
