The climate for Corsica

Corsica is a French Island divided into two departments, Upper and Southern Corsica. The island counts a population of 322,000 and its capital is Ajaccio, which was once home to Napoleon Bonaparte, the famous French Emperor. His home, Casa Buonaparte, was made into a national museum in 1967. Well-preserved Nature Reserves, strong Corsican culture and local gastronomy characterise the uniqueness of the territory. This is why French people love the island for their summer holidays. Visit the principal cities of the island, like ?Île Rousse?, Bastia, Bonifacio or Calvi although we advise you to ask locals about their favourite places, as Corsica hides quite a few hidden gems. Tourists benefit from a hot Mediterranean Climate, with average temperature reaching a pleasant 25°C to a very hot 35°C. In winter, high points can get some snow which completely transforms the scenery.
