How it works:

In order to participate in “Crack Open The Kitty” it’s simple : You just need to be subscribed to the Weather Wherever newsletter. By opening your newsletter every day you will know if you are the winner of “Crack open the kitty” for that day ! The value of the “kitty” is announced in the newsletter and is minimum £10. The kitty’s value increases by £5 every day if its contents are not claimed by winner from the day before. Our winner is selected from among all the Weather Wherever subscribers.

To receive your gift voucher:

If you are the lucky winner, please send an email on the same day before 5.00pm to claim your winnings. Send this email to , This is the only condition. If you do not contact us in time the value of the kitty will rollover to the next day and £5 will be added for the next winner.

Article 1
The company MétéoCity situated at 45 Bvd du Général Leclerc 59100 Roubaix France is organizing a game allowing participants to win a gift voucher every day.

Article 2
The game is open to any person over 18 years old who fulfills the participation criteria. All minors, staff and associates of the organiser company(ies), partners, spouses, direct ascendants and descendants of staff members and of the organiser company(ies) are excluded from participating in the competition. Any entry coming from any such person will be considered void.

Article 3
The game is carried out in the following manner: Every day Weather Wherever sends to its subscribers, by email, a newsletter. In this newsletter will appear automatically and randomly, the name of one person who has won a gift voucher for £10. The winner must write to Weather Wherever by email before 5.00pm in order to claim their winnings. If this person does not do the latter, they have lost their right to claim the winnings. The contents of the kitty will then rollover to the next day with an additional £5 added for the next potential winner. This will continue every day until a winner claims the contents, at which point the game starts again with an initial sum of £10 in the kitty. Winners will not be informed by telephone that they have won.

Only the date on the newsletter is accepted.

Article 5
This game allows subscribers to win a gift voucher of £10 or more. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other objects. If a winner does not wish to accept his/her prize, he does not have the right to claim any form of compensation.

Article 6
The game organiser is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the game organiser on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition. The same is true of any problems occurring related to hosting, ISPs or search engines.

Article 7
The full terms and conditions of this game can be obtained for free by anybody requesting them by writing MeteoCity, 45 Bvd du Général Leclerc, 59100 Roubaix and by providing your first name, surname and address.

Article 8
This game is free. The organiser will therefore reimburse, if requested and upon receipt of certain documents, any inernet connection fees paid to participate in the competition. Reimbursement will be made on the basis of £0.13 being spent to enter the competition. This includes both the cost of connecting to the internet to enter the competition and to consult the results. This sum corresponds to the average amount of time spent to enter the competition. Internet subscription charges and IT material are not reimbursed. Internet bills will need to be provided. Reimbursements are limited to one per home (same name, same postal address).

Article 9
Should the participant become a winner, he /she allows MeteoCity to use their first name, surname and town name when presenting them as a winner in the newsletter..

Article 10
If for any reason beyond the control of the game organiser this game is not capable of running as planned and the administration of this game is affected, the organiser reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the game.

Article 11
This game will be governed by French law and the French courts have jurisdiction to hear any disputes in relation to it.

Article 12
Any participation in this game implies that the participant fully accepts these terms and conditions.

Article 13
Under the French data protection act of the 6th January 1978 as modified on the 6th August 2004, participants have the right to access and correct personal information. They can do so by contacting the competition organizer at the address provided in these terms and conditions
