The climate in Milan

Located in the Northern part of Italy, Milan has a growing population of 1.3 million. Tourists mainly travel to this “Fashion capital” to visit the impressive museums, cultural institutions and galleries where one can, among other things, see Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous painting “The Last Supper”. With its modern skyscrapers, the city has become a world capital of design and architecture. Milan has a humid subtropical climate and isn’t influenced by the Mediterranean Sea which is too far away to have any impact on the cold, rainy winters and hot summers. The temperatures are set between 29°C in July and 5°C in January.
