I hope you’re hungry, because the Taste of London food festival is coming our way this week from Thursday 20 June to Sunday 23 June!

What is Taste of London?

Taste of London is a food festival that takes place every summer at Regent’s Park. It’s an opportunity to try dishes from 40 of London’s hottest restaurants without waiting ages for a table. Each restaurant has starter sized plates of some of their signature dishes. There are also over 200 artisan producers and premium brands that will have food and beverages from the UK and from around the world. With all the delicious treats to try, this festival is a food lover’s delight.

The festival isn’t just about tasting new foods! It also features interactive programmes on cooking and eating. This year, you can take a look inside the inner workings of some of the best restaurant kitchens, a lesson in wine, Thai cooking demos, and more!

Not to mention, you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of your favourite celebrity chefs!

What should I know before I go?

You can buy tickets in advance online or at the entrance for either an afternoon session or an evening session. A standard ticket costs £24 (£28 at entrance) and gives you access to the festival and the features.

The festival has its own currency called crowns. You can purchase them in advance or on site, and they are used to buy the dishes from the restaurants and some exhibitors.

The event takes place rain or shine, so be sure you’re prepared for the weather! As the event takes place in a park, comfortable, mud appropriate shoes are a must!

We recommend that you scope out the plan of the event and take a look at the menus available to see what you would most like to taste. You don’t want to be too full to try your ideal dish! And most importantly, go hungry!

For more info and to buy tickets, be sure to check out the official Taste of London site.
