This little brown and green fruit is also known as the Chinese Gooseberry or Macaque peach and was renamed by New Zealand natives after their national bird. Kiwis are usually used as an appetizer in salads, meat dishes, cakes or pies. You can find a large variety of kiwis. It is possible to eat the skin but make sure you wash it carefully to remove unwanted pesticides.

Health benefits

Kiwis are packed with vitamin C, E, potassium, magnesium and much more,  making it the perfect fruit to fight against colds and coughs in November. It is also rich in fibres and helps prevent constipation and some cancers.
