It is official: Autumn is finally here and we couldn’t be happier about it. We’ll probably miss all the sweet summer berries but we’re going to stay warm with the October fruits and veggies.

No wonder stews and soups are popular this month of the year: autumn is the best time to eat in-season produce.

Eating seasonal produce is the best way to eat a more sustainable diet. It is also a way to control your budget. In fact, fresh in- season produce is generally far more affordable than buying fruits and vegtables out of season.
