This year has been an interesting one thus far; we’ve had a complete shutdown of the US government, Hollywood has started a new movement to rid itself of harassers and abusers and Hawaii residents thought they were being attacked by an unknown force.

What lies ahead for the rest of the year in terms of politics? Who knows, but what we do know is that some of the answers may be in the stars… of course, some of them aren’t, so take each one of these predictions with a few grains of salt.

British psychic

Craig Hamilton-Parker, a renowned British astrologer and psychic, told the Daily Star that 2018 is set to be a rough one with many challenging times. This is a man who has made such bold predictions as Donald Trump’s rise to office and Prince Harry getting engaged in 2017, so his opinion and reputation is one that is valued.

When he makes a prediction, you sit up and listen. That’s why his 2018 guesses are more than just a little bit worrying.

He said:  “2018 will be a year of political turmoil and environmental crisis caused by dramatic and unprecedented weather. Many of [my] predictions are pretty gloomy but I feel that there will be a simultaneous growth in spirituality for the people of the world that will now start to lead us into a Golden Age.

“Conflict and hardship plus growing environmental problems will bring good people together and ignite a desire to seek the true purpose of human life."

His predictions for 2018 also include the following; US forces striking North Korea by blowing up a key trade route, Kim Jong-un being overthrown by his own people, a failed attempt to impeach Donald Trump and a terror attack on a UK motorway.

These predictions are largely gloomy, but there is the silver lining that a better and more peaceful time may be not too far down the road.

Latin America

Hamilton-Parker isn’t the only astrologer making bold political predictions for 2018. Walter Mercado, the renowned Puerto Rican psychic has also made a few. Mercado’s voice is one that is listened to in latin America and he has often been proven correct when he has made predictions.

His outlook is much more positive than his British counterpart. He told People Chica that he thinks Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Spain are all in for positive years where political turmoil takes a back seat.

He said: “Mars will fill us with passion and will make us more proactive. In general, 2018 will be a year of union, fraternity and infinite compassion. It will be yang year, positive, with a lot of initiative, daring, brave, [a year] of faith in God and each one of us.

ies. “Democracy and human rights take charge, This is a year of two (2+0+1+8), where blessings and lessons will be doubled.”

Out of the two, we know which predictions we would rather be true.
