Established in 1759, the Royal Botanic Gardens, more commonly known as Kew Gardens, is a popular attraction for tourists in London. Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, you can enjoy 300 acres of gardens and botanical glasshouses including trees, plants, and flowers from around the world. These gardens are home to the world’s largest collection of living plants. The Japanese Gateway (Chokushi-Mon), Kew Palace, and the Great Pagoda are just a few of the many interesting attractions not to be missed.
