Friday will be generally dry over most of the country with occasional light rain in North-East England and Eastern Scotland. Southern parts will see sunny spells with some temporary cloud and a gentle breeze. During the afternoon western parts of the UK will experience long periods of rain and in the south there will be some showers. The maximum temperatures will be between 13°C and 16°C. Temperatures will be dry and cooler overnight with some cloud in places. For the Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly the risk of heavy rain remains. Minimum temperatures will be between 1°C and 4°C overnight.

Saturday will be generally dry and sunny with a high band of pressure over northern parts of the country. The weather will be bright with sunny spells and an easterly breeze elsewhere with the best of the sunshine probably for the areas in the west of high ground. Eastern parts will see some cloud coming in from the North Sea. The maximum temperatures will be 12°C to 15°C.The conditions overnight will be clear and dry but foggy and misty in Scotland and Ireland. Eastern parts of the country will see low cloud. The minimum temperatures will be between 3°C and 6°C.

On Sunday low cloud is expected across eastern parts of the UK with occasional rain. Any early mist and fog will ease off leaving fine weather in the west. The maximum temperatures will be between 12°C and 15°C. Dry conditions with some fog across the country overnight with minimums of 2°C to 5°C.
