Amy Schumer is no stranger to discusising her private life in public.

In fact, a lot of her stand-up material has been made to be based on her trials and tribulations as a single woman. Of course, that has not changed now.

Earlier this year, the funny woman got married to chef Chris Fischer. On Saturday Night Live, Schumer revealed that this development has changed her life drastically, not least because she has had to alter her comedy routine.

She said: "Some of you may have heard I got married this year.

"Some people are like, 'What are you going to talk about in your stand-up?

On the show to promote her new film, I Feel Pretty, Schumer added that her new husband was not the best at actually proposing.

She added: "The way that my now-husband was so worthless. It was such a day. It was morning, I was still asleep, he threw the box at me and said, "I got you this."

"But that's a realistic proposal."

Last month, Schumer was ready for her new hubby, telling E! News that he was a great help on the movie, I Feel Pretty.

"He's really proud of me, he's proud of this movie," said the new bride.

The 36-year-old said also gave an interesting answer when asked what the best part of being married is: "The best part is just having a partner and being like 'I got a team.' It was just me and [my dog] Tatiana and now it's cool, you're going to be with you. "

Her wedding took place on the day before Valentine's Day, February 13th, at a small venue in Malibu. The secret event took the world by surprise as Schumer posted photos on Instagram, under the caption "Yup."

It was a beautiful wedding, where Schumer wowed a white gown and braided hair. Her bridesmaids wore gorgeous pink sleeveless dresses.

It was a star-studded affair, with Jenifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhal and Jennifer Aniston just some of the well-known people in attendance.

The wedding was a surprise to the outside world, as they were a couple of days ago, via a cute photo on their Instagram page.
