On Monday, it will be bright and dry during the morning for most of the UK but with cloud and showery rain across western areas accompanied by winds. A wet afternoon follows for the UK with heavy rain in most parts. Only some parts in the south-west will remain dry with light cloud. Later on heavy rain covers the whole country with strong winds in Ireland, south-west Scotland and Irish Sea coasts. Similar conditions overnight with wind gusts near 50mph and even higher in places.  Temperatures will be between 3°C and 16°C.

A rainy and windy day on Tuesday with gusts of 50mph to 55mph in places. During the afternoon some sunny spells will appear across north-eastern parts of the country. Later on in the day it will turn drier for most parts of the UK but weather conditions in Scotland will remain cloudy and rainy. Overnight, the rain seems to ease off across the country. Temperatures will be between  5°C and 18°C.

A dry start to the day with bright spells of sunshine at times on Wednesday across the country.  However, in Scotland the weather will be rainy and cloudy during the morning. Later on it will turn dry across the UK with some light cloud. Similar conditions for the evening followed by a dry night with occasional clear spells.   

On Thursday the weather will be generally settled and dry across the UK. Later on in the day some cloud will appear in places with scattered rain at times.  Overnight it will be mainly cloudy with occasional showers for most places. Temperatures should be between 6°C and 22°C.

On Friday it will be a generally warm day, especially in the South. There will be a risk of thunderstorms accompanied by heavy showers in the North. Later on in the day, unsettled conditions are expected across the UK. Temperatures should be between 8°C and 23°C.
