Tuesday will be very cloudy and overcast in eastern parts of Scotland and England. The density of clouds in the sky will vary throughout the day and southern parts of Britain will receive increasing amount of sunshine. Overnight, colder temperatures will cause frost to develop in places, as well as fog patches.

On Wednesday, Scotland will remain cloudy with overcast skies in the East. However, the rest of the UK will be dry and mild, with spells of sunshine. Clouds will increase into the afternoon. Overnight, most of the UK will have clear spells while some areas will have fog patches. Mild temperatures everywhere with 8°C to 12°C.

Although the weather will remain the same for most of the UK on Thursday, cloudy and dry with sunny spells, rain will return in Scotland, especially in Northern parts. Temperatures should be colder than at the beginning of the week.

By Friday, a cold front will cover northern parts of the UK and will spread south-eastwards throughout the day. The weather should remain dry but cloudy for much of England and Wales, with sunny spells. Maximum temperatures could go as high as 13°C.
