Friday will be dry in the morning with bright and sunny spells. South-western areas will be dull and damp with hill fog. Northern and Western Scotland will experience showers. Overnight, a band of rain will cover western coastal areas of the UK and will slowly move eastwards. High temperatures of 8°C to 11°C.

On Saturday, an area of low pressure will move in from the west and will bring wet and windy weather. Northern parts of the UK could still see a few sunny spells. However temperatures in this part will be colder, from 7°C to 10°C, while southern areas will have highs of 10°C to 13°C.

Winds will continue to blow on Sunday and it will remain fairly rainy, although temperatures will be warmer. Overnight, it will still be rainy and windy.
