The weather may be cold, but our list of summer movie releases is far from it. Many of the movie production houses leave their biggest and best releases to the summer months, so we've decided to put together an enchanting lists of some of the movies with the most potential.

Summer is just around the corner and with it a glut of great movie releases to look forward to. Here are just a few of them...

Tomb Raider

Everyone's favorite video game heroin returns just a little bit before the warm weather, in whats looks to be an action packed movie staring the always interesting Alicia Vikander in the main role.

X-Men: The New Mutants

The last X-Men movie, Logan, was probably their best ever. We are hoping the franchise continues that trend when they release The New Mutants.

Avenger: Infinity War

This is quite possibly the biggest blockbuster release of the year and will see all of the Avengers return, as well as members from Guardians of the Galaxy. It's set to be an absolute riot and if Thor: Ragnarok is anything to go by, it will be hilarious too.

Star Wars: Han Solo

The long awaited Han Solo movie is finally arriving in the coming months and it's set to be an interesting project that will be looked upon closely. Alden Ehrenreich plays the lead and for his sake, we hope it's more Return of the Jedi than Phantom Menace.

Deadpool 2

Everyone's favourite foul-mouthed hero is returning to the fold this summer and it's set to be pulsating, sweary and a whole lot of fun. Ryan Reynolds was made for this role.

Ocean's 8

The all-female cast take on the Oceans franchise and reports so far are good. Sandra Bullock seamlessly fits into the role of the cheeky thief and we can't wait to see it.

Jurassic World 2

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas-Howard return in their starring roles. We certainly hope it's better than the last Jurassic movie, which felt like one long advert because of all the product placement

Ant-Man And The Wasp

Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are the title characters in this Marvel movie. The last Ant-Man movie didn't take itself to seriously and we hope this one follows that trend, because Rudd is a comic genius.

Skyscraper

Fans of Die Hard are in for a treat, as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson takes on many action movie tropes atop a burning skyscraper. Will he do it better than John McClain? We'll have to wait and see.

Mission: Impossible 6

Yes, this franchise is still going and yes, it's still good. MI's last outing was the fun Ghost Protocall and if this one is a match, then we are in for a treat.
