On Friday, a showery start to the day for most parts of the UK with occasional sunny intervals. However in south-eastern parts it will be generally dry and sunny. Later on, the rain spreads across most parts of the UK with the risk of snow in northern parts of the UK. The rain becomes lighter in central and southern parts of the country. It is expected to be rainy and rather chilly over Scotland with hill snow. Similar conditions follow overnight. Temperatures will be between 0°C and 10°C.

 

An unsettled day is expected on Saturday. A band of showers will appear rotating north-eastwards across the UK. Some of them will be heavy at times with the risk of hail and storm activity. In southern and central parts of Scotland the showers might be wintry with the risk of snow later on. A rainy night follows with the risk of snow over the Scottish hills. Temperatures will be between -1°C and 10°C.

 

Another unsettled day for the UK on Sunday. It will be generally cloudy and showery across most parts of the country with the possibility of some sunny spells at times. Across central and northern parts of Scotland there will be some snow. However, during the evening it is expected to turn drier over central and southern parts of the UK. Similar conditions overnight. Temperatures will be between 1°C and 9°C.

 

On Monday, colder air is expected to spread from the North to most areas. Around western, eastern and northern coastal areas there will be wintry showers. Further south it will be generally dry. Temperatures should be between 1°C and 8°C.
