Over Wales Cumbria and parts of Scotland there is the risk of gusts up to 70mph. A showery night follows with the possibility of stormy activity. Temperatures will be between 3°C and 13°C.

 

A showery and cloudy day will affect most parts of the UK on Wednesday. It will be chillier over Scotland and Northern Ireland. Similar conditions prevail later on. Overnight, the showers might be wintry and may turn into snow over the hills due to the colder air coming from the north-western parts. Temperatures will be between 3°C and 14°C.

 

A brighter start to the day for most parts of the country on Thursday. However, over western Scotland and Northern Ireland there will be some showers or longer spells of rain accompanied by winds. Overnight, it turns rainy over most parts of the UK and it will also be rather breezy. Temperatures will be between 2°C and 11°C.

 

On Friday it should be rather windy with unsettled weather conditions. There will be some showers or longer spells of rain especially over northern and western areas. Temperatures will be between 4°C and 13°C.
