A generally cool day is expected across the UK on Tuesday. During the morning there will be a mixture of rain and sunny spells. Later on any showers ease off for most parts of the country. Dry conditions prevail overnight with some clear spells at times. Temperatures should be between 7°C and 16°C.

 

Outbreaks of rain will spread over northern and western parts of the UK on Wednesday. The rest of the country will experience generally dry conditions with few sunny spells during the morning. Later on it turns rather cloudy across most parts of the country. Temperatures should be between 6°C and 18°C.

 

On Thursday, there will be patchy and light rain in places, clearing gradually from south-east England, leaving some sunny spells. However, across northern and western parts of the UK those showers will be heaviest and more frequent with the risk of hail and storm activity at times. Temperatures should be between 8°C and 18°C.

 

A breezy day follows on Friday across the UK. There will be scattered showers mainly in the north and west again and some of them will turn heavy at times. The rest of the country should experience dry conditions with a fair amount of sunny spells across central parts. Temperatures will be between 7°C and 18°C.
