A mostly fine and warm day on Friday across the UK. During the afternoon bright sunshine is expected with pleasant conditions for most parts of the country. Later on in the day there will be some heavy showers in the South with the risk of some lightning activity in places.  Overnight, the heavy showers will spread across most parts of the UK accompanied by thunderstorms in places. Temperatures will be between 9°C and 27°C.

A hot day follows on Saturday with a mixture of rain and sunny spells. During the morning heavy rain will appear in most parts of the UK accompanied by lightning at times. Later on in the day any rain will ease off in the South but it will be rainy and cloudy elsewhere. A dry night follows with clear spells in places. Temperatures will be between 10°C and 32°C.

On Sunday it will be cooler with heavy showers in northern and north-western areas. During the morning there will be some light rain in Northern Scotland but it will be dry with sunny spells elsewhere. Later on in the day the rain will spread across Scotland and Northern Ireland.  In the south it will be largely dry with bright spells of sunshine at times. Dry conditions follow overnight across the country. Temperatures will be between 11°C and 25°C.

Unsettled conditions are expected on Monday. During the morning occasional showers will appear in north-eastern parts of the UK but it will be dry elsewhere. Later on in the day there will be some scattered rain in places. Temperatures should be between 10°C and 25°C.
