A dry start to the day for most parts of the UK on Friday but the far South will experience a rainy morning with the possibility of thunder. A cloudy afternoon follows for Northern Scotland and heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected for Wales and southern parts of the country.  Showery rain with thunderstorms and heavy downpours will gradually spread further North and North East across England and Wales during the evening. A wet night follows with thunder in the South. It will feel generally very warm during the day with highs of 26°C and cooler overnight with lows of 7°C.


On Saturday the UK will experience a rainy and cloudy morning with lightning activity in the South. Heavy rain will gradually spread across most parts of the country whilst south-east England will see some sunny spells during the afternoon. The rain eases off overnight in most parts of the country. Temperatures will be between 6°C and 21°C.

 

A cloudy morning with patchy rain in places on Sunday. Later on in the day the rain eases off leaving some sunny spells at times. A dry evening follows with spells of sunshine and light cloud across the UK. Dry conditions prevail overnight. Temperatures should be between 4°C and 17°C.  


Mainly dry weather is expected on Monday with light winds at times. The weather conditions will be generally cool for the season but dry with occasional spells of sunshine during the day. Temperatures should be between 5°C and 17°C.
