The climate in Agadir

Located in South Western Morocco, Agadir has a population of 609,000 inhabitants. It is a major city famous for its very large market Souk El Had which contains up to 6,000 shops. The most popular places are the marina with its beautiful Moorish architecture, the Bert Flint Museum and the garden of Ibn Zaidoun. The city is also well known for its Valley of Birds. The Little Train of Agadir is a highly appreciated attraction as it takes visitors to most of the interesting places to visit. The city features very warm summers and mild winters thanks to its subtropical-semiarid climate. The temperature in summertime is about 27°C and 20°C in winter. The average temperature for the year is around 23°C. The heat will sometimes rise for a few days because of the winds coming from the Sahara.
