Saudi Arabia is the largest Arab state in Western Asia by land area and the second-largest geographically in the Arab world. It is bordered by Jordan and Iraq to the north and Yemen in the south. It is also known as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and it counts a total population of 28.7 million. Here we can find the Kingdom Tower, previously known as Mile-High Tower which is a skyscraper currently under construction in Jeddah and is set to be the first building to reach more than a kilometre into the air. The climate of Saudi Arabia definitely follows the desert climate with the exception of the southwest. It has high temperatures during the day and low temperatures at night. The average summer temperature is about 45° C, but occasionally it can reach up to 54° C. The heat becomes intense shortly after sunrise and lasts until sunset, followed by surprisingly cool nights. In the winter, the temperature doesn't go below 0° C, but due to the fact that there is no humidity and due to the high wind-chill it there can be quite cold atmosphere. In the spring and autumn the heat is temperate with temperatures averaging around 29° C.
