The climate in South Korea

South Korea is a sovereign state in East Asia with Seoul its capita, also the second largest city in the world. It is bordered by North Korea, by Japan to the east and China to the west. There is also a wetland situated near Changnyeong and Jeju island also known as the "Island of the Gods”. It offers plenty of activities like horse riding, sunset watching or just relaxing on the sandy beaches. The climate in South Korea is temperate with cold winters and wet, hot summers. The average temperature in January for Seoul, which belongs to the Southern part of the country, is -2, 5°C while in August the average temperature rises up to 29.5°C.
