The climate in Marbella

Located in the region of Andalusia, Spain, Marbella is situated on the Mediterranean Sea and has a population of over 140,000. There are twenty-four beaches along the coastline plus numerous landmarks including the old city centre that make this a popular tourist destination. Marbella is also home to many luxury hotels, beach clubs, and a harbour that docks luxury yachts. The climate in this Spanish city is a microclimate. It is protected to the North by the Cordillera Penibetica coastal mountains and has an average annual temperature of 18°C. Marbella has 2,900 hours of sunshine on average per year.
