Located on the south coast of the Llyn Peninsula where the River Afon Soch reaches the sea in Gwynedd, Wales, Abersoch is a large village with a population of almost 1,000. The village is a popular seaside resort specialising in dinghy sailing and other water sports such as windsurfing. Popular for its location near Snowdonia National Park, boat trips are also available from the village to the St Tudwal’s Islands to see wildlife such as seals. Known for its pleasant climate and beaches, Abersoch features cool to warm summers and mild winters. The average high temperature in summer is about 18°C.
