The climate in Aberystwyth

Situated near the confluence of the rivers Rheidol and Ystwyth, Aberystwyth is a small historic market town and a holiday resort in the area of Ceredigion in Wales. The town is a major educational centre with an important influx of students. It is also a popular tourist centre and features numerous historic landmarks such as the remains of the castle. When the railway was built in the 19th century, it created a Victorian tourist boom, leading to the construction of many large hotels.
