The climate in Belfast

Located on the River Lagan, Belfast is the largest city in, and the capital of, Northern Ireland with a population of over 640,000. This British city is a centre for industry, the arts, higher education, and business and is one of the most visited cities in the UK. This capital city is famously known for being the site of the construction of the RMS Titanic, and visitors can see where it was built as well as a museum dedicated to it. Belfast has a temperate climate with very moderate changes in temperature over the year, fairly windy conditions, and significant rainfall. In the summer, temperatures tend to be around 18°C, and in the winter, they are around 2°C.
