Located on England’s northwest coast by the Irish Sea, this British city has a population of 142,100. Blackpool is heavily dependent on tourism and is the most popular seaside resort in the UK. Pleasure Beach Blackpool is a popular amusement park located in the city, and visitors also enjoy the long beaches along the coast. Other attractions include the North Pier, Central Pier, and Sandcastle Water Park. The climate of this city is a temperate maritime one, similar to the rest of the UK. Blackpool has a limited temperature range with average high temperatures between 7°C in winter and 19°C in summer. There is rainfall throughout the year and high winds are common.
