Brighton is a city located in East Sussex on the south coast of England. Thanks to the city's location, the temperatures in Brighton are among the highest of the British Isles. This town situated on the south coast of Britain and belonging to the county of Brighton and Hove, has a population of around 155 000. Thanks to its seaside location, it is a popular location with day trippers coming from London. Brighton Beach is a shingle beach and has been awarded a blue flag. The town is considered to be one of the UK’s top night life spots and is associated with several popular music artists. The town experiences an oceanic climate like the rest of Britain. During the summer months sea breezes can reduce the temperature by around 5°C on the coast. Summer in Brighton is generally pleasant with average daytime temperatures of around 20-21°C. Winters are fairly mild with average lows of 3-4°C.
