Eight million tourists a year visit Brighton! This charming town has indeed a lot to offer. The Brighton Pier is a traditional pier and has some superb views along the coast. Pebble Beach is also a nice place to walk along.The Marina with its many shops and restaurants is a good spot to enjoy the sunny weather and spend some time outside. And there is ample free parking, which is a rarity in Brighton!Preston manor is a delightful manor house which belonged to the Stanford family for over 200 years and which still has the atmosphere of an Edwardian country house. It is open to visits everyday except on Mondays. Brighton is also famous for its numerous restaurants. Kensington café is located in Kensington Gardens in the North Lanes. Its great location combined with its varying menu makes it a very nice place to relax and have lunch.Activities for children include the Sea Life Center, the Toy and Model Museum and the Volks Railway.And don’t forget to visit the Royal Pavilion, a former royal residence. Both children and adults will rejoice at its greatness.

The Brighton marina is a great place to visit for a family day out: there’s sun, sea and good fish ‘n’ chips. The marina has a great selection of pubs, restaurants and shops and there’s always something suitable for everyone. There’s a path which runs between the top of the beaches and the cliffs, perfect for a nice family cycle to Rottingdean, a nice seaside village.The sea life center is worth seeing, the kids enjoyed it a lot. It’s fun and educational at the same time. As the weather was nice, we took a ride in the Volks Railway, the world's oldest operating electric railroad. It’s cheap and it goes along the coast from Black Rock to the Palace Pier. All in all it’s the perfect destination for a superb family day out, all day any day!- Weather:It was sunny and nice, about 18°C.- Don’t miss:If the weather is nice: the marina, the beach and Rottingdean. If it’s a bit rainy: the sea life center, the Preston manor and the Royal Pavilion- Food:There are many restaurants and cafés in Brighton and for all kinds of budgets. Overall, the food was pretty good.

This town situated on the south coast of Britain and belonging to the county of Brighton and Hove, has a population of around 155 000.
