Geographical situation and climatic info for Glastonbury

Glastonbury, is a small town situated in Somerset, south west England. It has a temperate climate which is in general wetter and milder than the rest of the United Kingdom. July and August are the warmest months with an average maximum temperature of around 21°C and an average minimum temperature of around 11°C. January and February are the coldest months with an average maximum temperature of 5°C and minimum temperatures of around 2°C. Snowfall occurs occasionally and on average, 8 to 15 days of snowfall can be expected. The town is famous for its annual Glastonbury Festival, which actually takes place in nearby Pilton and each year it is attended by around 150,000 people.
