The climate in Hereford

Famous for its 11th century Cathedral, Hereford is situated in West Midlands in Herefordshire County. It has a population of 59,000 inhabitants. Close to the Welsh border, it lies on the River Wye crossed by the famous Wye Bridge. The Hereford City Cider Museum located in an old cider factory is a very popular place in the city. In summertime, the Cider festival is a major event and attracts numerous visitors. The Old House Museum is also part of the city’s medieval heritage with its facade built in the 17th century. Like most of the UK, it has a maritime climate. The average temperature in July is 22°C and 1°C in January. It experiences moderate rainfall throughout the year.
