The county town of Lincolnshire in the East Midlands of England, Lincoln is a cathedral city with a population of 104,221. It is found in a gap in the Lincoln Cliff where the River Witham flows through. Origins of Lincoln can be traced as far back as the Iron Age. Some popular attractions in the city include the cathedral, the castle, and the Medieval Bishop Castle. Lincoln also holds a traditional German style Christmas market each year.
