The climate in Perth

With a population of 1.9 million, Perth is one of the most populous cities in Australia. It is the capital of Western Australia and was founded by Captain James Stirling in 1829. For animal lovers, the Perth Zoo is a great place to discover exotic Australian animals. As part of the country’s culture, the Western Australian Museum is a must-do in order to learn of the Aboriginal culture. The Perth Arena is one of the most famous buildings due to its interesting architectural shape. The city has a Mediterranean climate. The high rate of seasonal rainfall makes it one of the wettest Australian cities. Summers, starting from December to March, usually are very hot and dry with an average temperature of 32°C in the afternoon and 20°C in the morning. The average high in winter time is 18°C.
