The climate in Reading

Found in the Thames Valley at the confluence of the River Thames and the River Kennet in South East England, Reading has a population of 146,000. An important centre in the medieval period, today, the town is a commercial and retail centre with involvement in the information technology sector. Reading is the home of one of England’s biggest music festivals, the Reading Festival. A popular attraction in the town is the Maiwand Lion in Forbury Gardens. The climate in Reading is maritime with limited seasonal temperature ranges and moderate rainfall. The average high temperatures in winter are around 7°C, and in summer, they are between 18 and 22°C.
