The climate in Torquay

Situated on the north of Torbay in the ceremonial county of Devon in South West England, Torquay is a seaside town with a population of almost 64,000. In the early 19th century, the town developed into a fashionable seaside resort. The town has many attractions including Kents Cavern, an important Stone Age site, Living Coasts, and Babbacombe Model Village. Torquay’s climate is mild all year featuring short winters. The average high temperature in summer is around 21°C. In winter, they are around 9°C with lows near 4°C. Temperatures stay quite mild in October and November. Rainfall falls throughout the year with the summer months being the driest.
