The climate in Walsall

A large industrial town in the West Midlands of England, Walsall has a population of almost 175,000. It is found northwest of Birmingham and east of Wolverhampton. By the beginning of the 13th century, it was already established as a small market town. Walsall developed largely thanks to the industries that the Industrial Revolution brought to it. The town is also home to the New Art Gallery Walsall and a few museums. Walsall has a climate typical of the UK characterised by warm summers and mild to cool winters. The average high temperature in summer is around 21°C. In winter, the average high is about 6°C with lows near 1°C. Rain falls year-round, but November through January tends to be the wettest months.
