Uzbekistan is a country situated in Central Asia. Uzbekistan is bordered by Kazakhstan and the Aral Sea, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan to the southwest. It counts a total population of around 31 million people with Tashkent its capital and the largest city. Uzbekistan has a great culture and history. The climate in Uzbekistan is continental. Generally, in southern parts of the country the temperatures are warmer than in the North. The coldest month is January where the average temperature is around 8°C in the North and above 0°C in the far South. The minimum temperatures that have been recorded are around -35°C. The warmest months are July and August where average temperatures are between 25°C and 30°C in the North and up to 41°C in the South.
